The Weddell Seals of erebus bay, ANTARctica

This is the first in a series of stories on Antarctica and the science being conducted there.  The images you see on this page were shot over two season while working with two of the research groups studying the Weddell Seals living in Erebus Bay, Antarctica. The images were collected under NMFS Permit No. 18691-00. Both of these groups are funded under grants by the US Antarctic Program. Project support from Blue Earth Alliance.  You can help support his project by donating here.

Over the next few months we will be working on a story on these incredible marine mammals and the scientific research being conducted with them.
